It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 5th World Arthroplasty Congress (WAC), to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on April 22–23, 2027.
Building on the success of the 4 previous editions, the European Knee Society, in partnership with the International Orthopaedic Education Network, The Hip Society, The Knee Society, and the European Hip Society, has collaborated to develop a state-of-the-art scientific program dedicated to hip and knee arthroplasty. This unique and forward-thinking collaboration takes place only once every three years.
True to its name, the World Arthroplasty Congress will bring together more than sixty-five leading international experts who will deliver sessions on the most relevant and cutting-edge topics in hip and knee arthroplasty.
In today's complex surgical environment, shaped by societal, political, and economic challenges, this congress provides a platform for global experts to unite around a shared objective: advancing the field of arthroplasty and improving patient care. It will also offer a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, engage in meaningful discussions, and share a common passion for hip and knee surgery. A combination of plenary and deep-dive sessions will foster high-level interaction among delegates, faculty, and industry partners.
Healthcare professionals are invited not only to attend as delegates but also to contribute by submitting their scientific work. Following a blinded peer-review process conducted by leading experts, selected abstracts will be presented on the podium during the meeting. The 5th World Arthroplasty Congress represents an outstanding opportunity to showcase your work to a highly engaged international audience.
